Abstract

Collaborative care in surgery is a cornerstone of modern healthcare, emphasizing the combined efforts of diverse medical professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Among these professionals, anesthesiologists and pharmacists play pivotal roles. Anesthesiologists oversee patient safety during surgical procedures, ensuring proper anesthesia administration and monitoring vital signs (Bisgaard et al., 2022).  On the other hand, pharmacists bring expertise in medication management, ensuring safe and effective drug use throughout the surgical process. Their collaboration bridges critical gaps, minimizing risks and enhancing the quality of care provided to patients undergoing complex medical interventions (Sun et al., 2020).
